FBC’s men's ministry seeks to engage men in ways that address the unique challenges that men are facing today. Through large events, small groups, and retreats, the ministry is aimed at enabling men to become better men - at home, in the workplace, and in the world. Weekly Men's Breakfast
6:30 amFall is here and with it is the kick-off of Men’s Group on Thursday mornings. Join us on Thursday mornings for a series with Men’s Group favorite David Roper. This time we’ll dive into the book of James with David as our guide. David is a fly-fisherman extraordinaire, former pastor and all around good man who’s doing what we are trying to do together – follow Jesus!
In Growing Slowly Wise, Roper masterfully lures us to go beneath the surface of the book of James and catch all its timely advice, practical reminders, and inspiration. Feel free to order your own copy or pick one up from FBC (they are on order and we’ll let you know when they come in). This fall, we will start online with Zoom. At some point if the group wishes to, and county guidelines allow, we will reassess the possibility of meeting in person. Join in.
