Applications are now being accepted for the 2010-2011 school year. If interested please contact Scott Wieking.

Graffiti Abatement Project – The Davis Police and Public Works Department are looking for volunteers to help clean up graffiti around town. Contact Meg Harper to get connected.

Grace In Action – “Garden Meditations and Pancake Breakfast” for guests of Grace in Action and interested community church members, Thursday, September 2, 8:00 a.m. in the garden at Davis United Methodist Church located at 1620 Anderson Road. Please contact Cid Barcellos at cidbarcellos@sbcglobal.net to RSVP. Donations of snack foods such as cereal bars, fruit, chips, & crackers as well as pop-top canned meats and stews will benefit Grace in Action guests. Please check our website at www.Grace-in-Action.org for information about our fall fundraiser. Questions? Contact Jennie Alonzo at .

The Beat Within – This creative writing and publication project at the Woodland Juvenile Hall is looking for volunteers who would be visiting the youth each week, nurturing supportive relationships, facilitating writing assignments, and helping to edit/publish a weekly magazine. All those interested please contact Lynn Gerner at .

Meals on Wheels – The elderly nutrition program, Meals on Wheels needs volunteers to deliver meals to elderly, homebound Senior Citizens of Davis. Volunteers are needed one time a week, two times a month or as their schedule will allow.
